Therapy can facilitate healing, growth, and resilience, and I consider it an honor to be part of that journey with my clients.
Prior to working in mental health, I spent 15 years as a practicing attorney. Sitting with my law clients, I realized my true strength and passion was helping clients not as a legal professional but rather as a mental health professional.
This realization was the catalyst for me going back to school and obtaining a master's degree in psychology, including the additional and necessary coursework to pursue a license as a marriage and family therapist. During my master's training, I completed empirical research on how enduring traumatic events in early life contributes to chronic illness in adulthood and affects both mental and physical resilience. (You can read my research here.)

Hypnosis is a gentle and focused form of therapy that uses guided relaxation and concentration to access your subconscious mind. In this deeply relaxed state, you're more open to suggestions that support healing, change, and personal growth.
Contrary to popular myths, you remain fully in control during hypnosis—it's not about being “put under” but rather about tuning in. This approach can be especially helpful for managing anxiety, breaking habits, improving sleep, and uncovering the roots of emotional blocks and traumatic events. Think of it as a bridge between your conscious and subconscious—where real, lasting transformation can begin.
Cost is $125 per clinical hour.
